Women of Inspiration Awards Reception

WISE NYC Metro Chapter Women of Inspiration awards event and year-end holiday celebration honors three women who exemplify the spirit of the WISE mission.

Women of Inspiration honorees are making a positive impact on the business of sports and events while serving as positive role models and mentors for other women.

Tickets go on sale at 8AM Wednesday November 1st.

Member Meet-Up: Trick or Treat

NYC Metro hosts quarterly after work networking events — Meet-Ups — as a way to bring members together in a social setting to get to know one another in a more relaxed networking atmosphere.

Bring a non-WISE NYC guest to come celebrate Halloween early with your fellow WISE NYC Metro members! Enjoy hallowed Happy Hour specials, mystery prizes, spooky sweets, and frightening photo ops (just kidding!). Mark your calendars for some networking hocus pocus on October 25th.

Each member is strongly encouraged to bring one guest, male or female, to join in on the fun and introduce them to your wonderful WISE NYC network. Please remember, you (the member) must RSVP yourself and guests in advance!

Event registration opens up on October 5, 2017 and will close on October 23, 2017 at 5:00 PM, or when capacity has been reached.

Financial Fitness

The Financial Fitness program is exclusively for WISE Members and focuses is financial strategy and the business acumen needed to succeed in today’s competitive workplace.

In this Financial Fitness workshop, Valerie Gordon, founder of Commander-in-She, will help attendees take command of their negotiation skills. Through humor and authentic storytelling, members will explore the difference between The Ask and The Negotiation, the importance of story elements like backstory – what do you bring to the table; character – who makes and influences the decisions; and plot twists – what happens when the negotiation doesn’t go according to plan. This session will offer a blueprint for answering the 5 questions – Who, What, When, Where, Why – before getting to the How.

Wellness Wednesday Expo and Fitness Mashup

WISE NYC Metro is partnering with Athleta to host our first ever Wellness Wednesday Expo and Fitness Mashup!

Join us for a night of networking, shopping and healthy fun! The wellness expo is open to the public and will feature healthy juices, snacks and tips from our partners as well as a 25% off shopping discount from Athleta. Plus two lucky winners will take home $50 Shop Cards from Athleta! Special gift bag for registered guests upon arrival (while supplies last).

10th Anniversary Summer Kick-Off

Join us at the WISE NYC Metro Summer House in New York City for our annual summer kick-off event – 10th Anniversary style! Bring a friend or colleague (men are welcome).

Event registration opens Wednesday May 31st at 10AM and ends Thursday June 22 at 6PM, or when capacity has been reached, whichever occurs first. This event is for WISE NYC Metro Chapter members only. 

Cinco de Mayo – Member Meet Up
