About WISE

WISE — Women in Sports and Events — is the leading voice and resource for women in the business of sports. A national organization and registered 501(c)(3) not-for-profit headquartered in New York City, WISE has chapters across North America.

Our Mission

The WISE mission is to empower women in the business of sports with the tools to reach their career goals. Through peer support, mentoring programs and professional development and training, we strive to help members maximize their potential, sharpen their skills and advance their careers at every stage of their professional journeys.

About WISE NYC Metro

Through six signature programs and initiatives, the NYC Metro Chapter of WISE presents a number of panel discussions, workshops and roundtables led by top industry professionals.

In addition, professional development workshops and networking activities such as stadium events, food tastings, movie premiers, and fitness sessions are also held throughout the year.

Event Timing
NYC Metro Chapter program events (panels, workshops - core content) are held at 8am on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays.
NYC Metro Chapter networking and special events are held at 6pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays.

Our Approach

We’re proud to offer programs that not only support professional growth, but activities that support our members as “regular everyday people” who lead lives outside of work. While core programming is a considerable part of what we do, we have carefully considered and integrated ways for members to connect in less structured ways that promote relationship building.
