2016 Women of Inspiration

On Tuesday, December 6, 2016, WISE NYC Metro Chapter presented its 2nd annual Women of Inspiration event at Liberty Hall in NYC. The evening paid tribute to three extraordinary women leaders: Wendy Hilliard, Hall of Fame rhythmic gymnast and the first African American to represent the United States and remained on the Rhythmic Gymnastics National Team a record nine times; Adweek’s Most Powerful Women in Sports and Sports Business Journal Game-Changer, Lisa Murray; and Alison Overholt, the first female editor of a major US sports magazine.

The year-end holiday celebration featured a roaring 20’s speakeasy theme with a live band, Prohibition Era themed gaming and beverage stations, and plenty of holiday cheer.
