WISE NYC Metro is pleased to announce the appointment of Beth Malafa as Co-Chair of the Special Events Committee. In this role, she will co-lead production of the December Women of Inspiration Awards Reception, one of the chapter's premier signature events of the year. Beth is Vice President of Events with Major League Soccer, bringing deep expertise in large-scale event strategy, production and execution. Her appointment reflects the chapter's commitment to delivering quality programming and ensuring our signature events showcase WISE NYC Metro at its best.
About the Women of Inspiration Awards Reception
Each December, the WISE NYC Metro Chapter presents its Women of Inspiration Award to three exceptional women who have distinguished themselves in the sports and events industry through professional excellence and by serving as role models to others. The reception is one of the chapter's most significant moments of the year and closes out our annual programming calendar. "Beth brings exactly what this committee needs," said Van Adams, Chapter President. "Her career arc from event planning and logistics through large-scale execution at the highest level gives her the depth we need. She understands production at scale, knows how to navigate complex logistics, and executes from concept to delivery. That combination is rare."
