What we’re reading this fall… Extreme You by Sarah Robb O’Hagan.

In every challenging situation, personal or professional, individuals face the pressure to conform to the accepted norms. Don’t miss out on this book club session! WISE NYC Metro book club meetings are not your average book club. There will be a facilitated review of the book, a few surprises and giveaways and wine…of course there will be wine!

Registration closes 11/12/19 at 5PM or when we reach capacity. Book Club meeting location will be emailed to all registered members on 11/12/19. This is a members-only activity. Be sure your membership is current prior to registering.

What Women Want: A Financial Fitness Guide to Drive Entrepreneurial Growth

This year’s Financial Fitness Workshop will be an exploration of how women are increasingly leading the way in economic growth worldwide. Members will learn how mentorship, access to capital, and technology are key drivers for women as they build, scale, and sustain successful businesses as entrepreneurs, and intrapreneurs working for companies where meeting and exceeding revenue goals are key factors in moving up the corporate ladder.

Sky Blue – Taligate Sunday

Women’s soccer is at an all-time high after the US Women’s National Team captured the FIFA World Cup in July.

The players are back with their National Women’s Soccer League teams and WISE members have the opportunity to share in the excitement at the Sky Blue vs. Orlando Pride game on September 29th.

Come cheer on National Team Co-Captain and Sky Blue forward Carli Lloyd as her team takes on National Team players Ali Krieger and Ashlyn Harris along with Co-Captain Alex Morgan and the entire Orlando Pride squad.

Come spend the afternoon with friends, family and fellow WISE members to celebrate these amazing athletes.

Sky Blue plays on the Rutgers’ campus in New Jersey and kicks-off at 1pm Sunday September 29th.

Look for the WISE banner in the parking lot and join the pre-game tailgate (bring your own food and refreshments!).

Summer Kick-Off

Join us Wednesday June 26th at The Standard Biergarten, the High Line’s bustling, street-level beer garden for our annual members-only summer kick-off!

This year, members are encouraged to bring a friend and introduce them to your WISE network.

Bring your competitive spirit and hang out in the game room for a round or two of foosball, giant connect four, pick up sticks, and much more.

Member Meet-Up

Get to know your fellow WISE NYC Metro Chapter members in a relaxed setting. Refreshments and giveaways (while supplies last).

Event registration opens April 24, 2019 and closes May 22, 2019 at 5:00PM or when capacity has been reached.

Cost: $25 per member. Each member is encouraged to bring one (1) guest – male or female. However, you MUST RSVP in ADVANCE. Refreshments and Swag, while supplies last.

2019 Speed Mentoring Roundtables

Speed Mentoring Roundtables returns to the WISE NYC Metro program line-up in January as part of our recognition of National Mentoring Month. This interactive event brings you up close and personal with sports business executives and industry veterans to discuss your career questions.

Mentors for the evening will include leading sports business professionals from NYC Metro area organizations.

We look forward to you joining us for a fast-paced, unique mentoring experience that merges the best of two popular event platforms – the executive round table and networking!
