The Business of Women’s Sports: What’s Driving the Growth?
Women’s sports is on track to generate $3 billion in global revenue in 2026, up 25% from last year and nearly 350% since 2022. But what’s driving that growth?
WISE NYC Metro is collaborating with Northwestern | Medill for Inflection Point: Media, Money & the Future of Women’s Sports, a conversation with leaders across media, business and operations on what’s fueling the continued growth of women’s sports and what comes next.
The panel features Christine Brennan, Christen Johnson and Ndidi Massay, with Christina Amoroso moderating.
Christine Brennan has covered 22 consecutive Olympic Games and is the author of the New York Times bestseller On Her Game: Caitlin Clark and the Revolution in Women’s Sports. Christen Johnson is the creator of Cosmo Sports at Cosmopolitan. Ndidi Massay brings experience across sports media and operations, including ESPN, CBS Sports and RISE. Christina Amoroso is VP of Editorial Strategy at Bustle Digital Group and Editorial Director of Bustle’s women’s sports coverage.
Together, they’ll explore what’s behind the numbers, how media and business are evolving and what the growth of women’s sports means for the industry and the people building it.
