Reimagining Stadiums: The Future of In-Stadium and Digital Engagement
How next-generation venues are reshaping the fan experience — and transforming entire communities.
Today’s stadiums are no longer just venues — they’re catalysts for connection, commerce, and urban revitalization. As fan expectations evolve and cities demand more from their spaces, the blueprint for in-person and digital engagement is being fundamentally rewritten.
Join us for a dynamic panel discussion exploring how technology, design, entertainment, and private investment are revolutionizing not just the fan experience, but the very future of our cities.
The conversation will spotlight NYCFC’s $780 million, privately financed stadium — New York City’s first fully electric, soccer-specific venue. Seating 25,000 fans at the center of a transformative 23-acre development in Queens, this project anchors a new neighborhood featuring affordable housing, a new public school, expansive green space, and a surge of economic opportunity.
But the dialogue goes far beyond a single project. Panelists will unpack the broader shifts reshaping live sports and entertainment — from mobile-first engagement strategies and AR/VR innovation to the rise of mixed-use districts and the next wave of brand partnerships.
Be part of the conversation defining the future of venues, fans, and communities.

Things To Note
Questions About The Chapter Event: Contact the chapter directly at the email address listed on the registration page. Please allow up to two business days for your message to be received. During peak event registration periods, volunteers monitor the chapter’s email inbox more closely, but please be advised that immediate responses may not be possible.
Event Confirmation Emails: Confirmation emails are automatically sent upon the completion of the registration process. If the event indicates that a virtual link or more event information will be shared at a later date, please refer to the event registration details for timing to receive those correspondences. Please be sure that you check your junk/spam folders for confirmation emails. Add our domain to your inbox to decrease the likelihood of not receiving confirmation emails.
Refund Policy: All event tickets are non-refundable. Please note that canceling your registration via the ticketing system does not initiate a refund/credit. There are upfront costs and financial commitments associated with the event that make it impractical to offer refunds. We recognize that there may be extenuating circumstances, such as a natural disaster, or other unforeseen event that would prevent participation. In those rare occasions, the chapter may, at its sole discretion, consider a goodwill gesture to this policy.
Nonmembers: You'll see a blue box on the right side of the page that says "Registration." Non-members must create a free account to log in and purchase an event ticket. Please note: Creating an account is not the same as becoming a member. However, the system requires you to have an account in order to register for events. This option is only available for public events, with member and non-member rates as indicated in the event description.
Members: Make sure you are logged in and click on the RSVP button in the right column beneath the event image. If you need to join or renew, please do so as soon as possible. The system takes about 30 minutes to update before you can register for this event. If you do not see the RSVP button on this page, please log out and then log back in.
NOTE: If you are signed in and do not see the RSVP button beneath the event image, your membership may have expired. When logged in, your membership expiration date appears at the top of the page. If a membership expiration date is not visible or if you do not see the RSVP button, please contact the national office for assistance - not the chapter (the chapter cannot resolve technical issues with your membership profile) .
Here's how to check your membership status. If you are experiencing issues with renewing/joining, please contact the national office. A member of the WISE national office will assist you.
