Ambition is often celebrated as the fuel for success. But for too many women in sports business, it’s also the trap that leads to burnout, stalled promotions, and career plateaus.
The uncomfortable truth: ambition without strategy doesn’t accelerate your trajectory — it can actually hold it back. Studies show that women are just as ambitious as their male counterparts, yet remain significantly underrepresented in senior leadership. Why? Because climbing higher requires more than drive. It demands influence, visibility, sponsorship and the political savvy to turn effort into elevation.
This conversation unpacks how women can redefine ambition as a strategic asset — one that expands opportunity instead of exhausting potential. Join Amina AlTai, leadership coach and author of The Ambition Trap, for a candid conversation on how redefining ambition can unlock the next level of your career—without sacrificing your wellbeing in the process.
All registered attendees receive a copy of Amina AlTai’s best-selling book, The Ambition Trap: How to Stop Chasing and Start Living
